after about 14 hours of sleeping in total.. i think i'm still zonked out.
think i'll go plonk back on the bed after this.... why in the world did i wake up at 9 plus today....
hahaha. oh wells.
oh yes ching, how many people did you tell after you met me in town!?
eh and anw i was qt fast, the lady said i was fast lo. so proud of myself. hur. but mebbe its partly cos i have bigger eyes. haha.
youth camp!
many things happened, very eventful 4 days.. i think i really learnt alot. and wizened ( if there's such a word) up a little.
GROUP 5!
i say. you guys rock!
haha. realised that now there're more guys than gals in sojourners. ah wells. no matter!
haha i'm just really glad i had fun, and especially while i was working with my grp on the skit.. hoho i think i wun ever forget abel's shower of half-chewed up green jelly beans.
lesson no. 1: dun ever, ever, try to act/read ur script/TALK while u have sth in ur mouth.
haha!
joshy's obsession w the milo ad with li jiawei inside (the one i never got to see despite all the fuss about it) haha.
the crazy skits that everyone performed.. little variations here and there.. haha. wun forget the group that had jason as the mirror. hoho. now THAT was interesting. or the time when ALL the gals collectively 'EEWED' when we saw a HUMONGOUS BLACK LIZARD crawl across the wall. haha. or when the 3 poor boys sitting next to the speakers flinched ever so often when the volume got too loud. haha.
think we all received a touch from God during the camp.. and i really pray none of us will leave this camp thinking its just a camp, where we've reached the top of the mountain and now we're going back down. no way, dudes! we're still climbing, bit by bit, there's lots more to learn, so press on yea! :) let's all stay united and grow stronger in the Lord.
ohh. nice song i must put here. and i just realised i have the cd. haha. and even tho grandpa says its an ang moh song, and it doesn't have much of a tune, (it sounds more like speaking the first time u hear it) i think he n bran sang it really really nicely! i LIKE the song. haha.
SHOUT UNTO GOD
the enemy's been defeated
and death couldn't hold You down
we're gonna lift out voices in victory
we're gonna make our praises loud
shout unto God with a voice of triumph
shout unto God with a voice of praise
shout unto God with a voice of triumph
we lift Your Name up
we lift Your Name up
oh yeah. last night after i woke up and had dinner i realised that my left ankle was sorta hurting. so my dad was applying oil n rubbing it. and this morning i woke up and realised in horror that now there's a triangular red bruise near my ankle! whoa. and i din even fall during the camp! i have NO recollection of how i got that bruise. hopefully it gets better and goes away soon! and i learnt that when specs fall vertically, they're sharp enough to inflict damage!! so please dun drop ur specs on urselves, k people! yupp. :)
now. one of the bigger dramas during camp was on the 2nd night! after worship we were all sitting there and i was rubbing my eyes.
i mean, the nice lady at the optometrist's said i could rub my eyes as long as they were closed what! she didn't specify the amount of force i could or could not use, anyway.
so i was rubbing my eyes a tad vigorously cos i decided to be more adventurous and rub harder since my eyes needed some rubbing. then when i opened my eyes, my vision was blurred!
oh oh.
like seriously.
at first i thought it was the after effects of rubbing my eyes, so i just let it blink.
but when my eyes din clear after repeated blinking i decided to check it out.
checked my left eye. all clear.
checked my right eye. oh dies. it was blur! quickly asked dee to check if there was a lens in my right eye and after looking carefully, she said no!
ahhhhhh!
din feel any lens on my hands or think that it dropped on the floor, so quickly rushed off to the toilet before i really started to panic.
looked in the mirror and realised to my horror that the lens had shifted all they way towards my nose until only a tiny bit was left peeking out at the corner of my eye!
OHMYWORD.
quickly pulled it back before it moved further.
wahhhhhh.
on one hand i was horrified that such a thing happened. no more vigorous rubbing for me!
on the other i was SO relieved that it hadn't totally disappeared from view. i was totally thanking God for that man. cos if that had happened, i think i wouldn't have known what to do.
whoosh. scaryy.
for the lesser informed......
i've started wearing contacts.
haha.

i so did not salivate la... doesn't mean u did means i will..
hurhurr.
:P
but it IS nice song.
whooooo! camp is coming. and it IS different from the previous ones.
but not really sure of the programme.
sister act two!!! here we come! haha.
qt excited actually. haha.
lalala. hmm.
so today was the first proper day that i spent at home after As.
in a sense, it felt kinda weird, like i reeeally had nothing to do!
throughout these 2 years even though we had hols there was always something to study for cos the exams were always after hols!
or there were projects.
but now there's nothing. like really nothing.
whoa.
so free u can't believe it.
sat around.. watched nickalodean ( i still dunno how to spell it tho i watch it so much haha!)
watched beethoven's second! and whoh i must say there's one really nice song in there called 'the day i fall in love'.
duet!
wahh. super nice la.. i must find that song.
mebbe dad has it in one of his MANY cds! or mebbe shall find it online.
lala.and then.
went to play abit of piano.. confirm e songs for fri..
then went to play minesweeper. haha. while listening to songs.
sadly, i have never solved another minesweeper puzzle after that fateful friday where i FINALLY solved ONCE. after like, a gazillion times of playing.
ehhh. EXPERT stage ok. not beginner. hahahhaa!
kane says there are tricks to it.
but until i learn em, it's the same old busting-ur-brains checking off the mines and sometimes luck cos u really have to guess at some point! which really annoys me, that stupid guessing part.
and here i am to print the chords for the songs.. then later got prac at church!
yabadabadoo.
im so clearly bored.
halp.
ohh yeah. went out w zy n zh ytd to find prom stuff! (more like dresses)
not easy to find nice ones that SUIT you i tell you.. rahs.
BUT im happy to say we found quite a few nice ones.
yay!
will go out w parents to let em see before i actually buy the dress.
and hopefully no one has the same one as me! *crosses fingers*
all the trouble just to find ONE dress.. mamamia.
but anw. haha. zy was being lame wondering what it'll be like if the theme for our prom was sports.
we'd all be dressed in fbts and whatnot and when ppl ask, we'll be like 'oh, we're going for our prom!'
then she even suggested bringing a tennis racket. hahaha!
and it wouldn't hafta be at a hotel, it could be at any stadium! hahaha.
and we'll all have picnics on the field.
how cost saving that would be!
HAHAHA. how hilarious too.
:P
ohmyword. i can't imagine this going on for the whole of dec.
i've so gotta find sth purposeful to do. hahah. if not i'll just slack around my house taking up space and oxygen the whole day.
choir!!! please start soon. haha. for us that is.
i'm dreaming of a white christmas.......

joseph sent me a song!
very nice one. shall post it here.
:)
Leaving 99
I'm lost and broken all alone on this road
The wheels keep turning but the feeling is gone
when I fear I'm on my own
But you remind me i am not alone
You say..
I'd leave ninety-nine
Leave them all behind
To find you
(For you alone)
I'd leave ninety-nine
Leave them all behind
To find you
It's dark and lonely and the path is unclear
Can't move my feet because I'm frozen with fear
And You say,
My child, My child
I am always here, I'm at your side
I'd leave ninety-nine
Leave them all behind
To find you
(For you alone)
I'd leave ninety-nine
Leave them all behind
To find you
you're never too far down
I promise you'll be found,
I'll reach into the mud, miry clay
pursue you to the end,
like a faithful friend,
nothing in this world,
will keep Me away,
I'd leave ninety-nine
Leave them all behind
To find you
(For you alone)
I'd leave ninety-nine
Leave them all behind
To find you...
to find you..

I simply live for You
Say the word
and I will sing for You
over oceans deep I will follow
if each star was a song
every breath of wind praise
it will still fail by far to say
all my heart contains
I simply live
I simply live for You
As the glory of Your presence now
fills this place
in worship we will meet You face to face
there is nothing in this world
to which You can be compared
glory of glory
praise upon praise
You bind the broken-hearted and
save all my tears
by Your Word You set the captives free
there is nothing in this world
that You cannot do
I simply live
I simply live for You
a very simple song.. but one that when i was home early from church one sunday leapt out at me as i was playing the cd that grandpa very kindly burned for me. i never really noticed the song before, but i knew the tune was quite nice.. but somehow that day when i increased the volume and listened to the lyrics, they spoke straight to my heart. a very beautiful song.. and the lady who sang it has a beautiful voice! *hair stand* haha. it spoke of devotion to the Lord.. and how amazing He is. can i live a life devoted to God? it's so easy to get distracted by things of the world.. a prime example being the exams. exams came and suddenly time to read the Word of God was lost. which really made me think. if i couldn't even take out time to do my QT, what about later in life, when bigger trials than exams come? how would i be able to strengthen my faith if i didn't spend time with Him? so easy to say, so much harder to actually do. but i must say the music certainly helped. like in a way, pondering upon the lyrics.. or just playing songs on the piano... that was some time spent with God i guess.
Through it all
You are forever in my life
You see me through the seasons
cover me with Your Hand
and lead me in Your righteousness
and I look to You
and I wait on You
I'll sing to You Lord
a hymn of love for Your faithfulness to me
I'm carried in everylasting arms
You'll never let me go
Through it all
a song about the assurance that can only come from God. one that really brought great comfort in my fear. and i stand amazed.. at Your grace.. boundless love.
All for love
all for love a Father gave
for only love could make a way
all for love the heavens cried
for love was crucified
[pre-chorus]
oh how many times
have i broken Your heart
but still You forgive
if only i ask
and how many times
have You heard me pray
draw near to me
[chorus]
everything i need is You
my beginning my forever
everything i need is You
let me sing all for love
i will join the angel song
ever holy is the Lord
King of glory King of all
All for love a Saviour prayed
Abba Father have Your way
though they know not what they do
let the cross draw men to you
a song i heard through dee! and hoho what a nice song it is yes.. i don't really think i needa say much.. the lyrics speak for themselves yeah. :)
ho and reading blogs i realised i've been out of touch! with youth that is. i think. haha. too many weeks of rushing home after church. rar. i gotta spend more time with the youth! yeahboy. physically there but never really connected. hahahha. there's where my breakkk comes in! yay. ok. then can spend some good quality time with people too. grandpa, dottos, hear me?! my P4 kiddos!!!! and im so excited for watchnight. haha! ok i really think i'm getting too carried away with my big plans for AAs. (after As. cheesy right.) will go back to optical isomers and activation energies and equlibirums. take care and jiayou everyone having exams! :)

AHHHHHHHHHHHHH!
AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!
ok. i have officially recognised that i'm mad.
i so so so so cannot wait for tomorrow!
and i'm FINALLY online. like. finally.
cos that 10sec when i came online to check my blog and zoom back off seriously doesn't count.
ohmyword.
the As are going to be over!
OVER.
TOMORROW.
sorry bio n arts and whoever else who still has exams ppl, but anw it'll end really soon! before you know it.
2 years of studying and chionging and it's over.
whoa. fast.
and the 2 weeks has really been super hectic.
especially this week.
whoever came up with our crummy timetables anyway.
although i appreciate the fact that we end early it'd been nicer not be SO rushed for time. really.
but i'm glad to say i've survived.. whether i'll really survive the As though, it remains to be seen. really trying not to worry and heed my own advice that i've given others, and place my trust in God.. but sometimes it just hits you la.
so. frustration, anxiety, fatigue, disbelief, anger, fear, desperation, joy, hope, peace, amusement, amazement, happiness, relief..... i think i've experienced all of that within the short span of 2 weeks. it's been a roller coaster ride man..
i'm just so glad that i can go home and not hit the books immediately, that i can eat my dinner without keeping my eyes glued to my notes and glancing at the clock ever so often to check that i've still time for studying before bed. i sort of feel like it's over, which it isn't, but i guess one mcq paper doesn't really make your load that heavy huh.
there's immense relief, but on the other hand, also a sort of sadness.
cos tmr will be the last time we'll wear our school uni!
haha i guess that sounds quite dumb huh, like of all things to get sentimental about..
but yeah. the next time i walk into school i wun be wearing the familiar beige blouse and skirt. haha. and again i really must express my amazement at how fast time has passed. really really really. 2 years just went by like that. whoa.
ah wells. i've plenty of things to do after this! think the hols schedule is packed. for this year, that is. next year.. i'm not so sure. haha. and OHMYgoodness did dee n i get a shock when we went to check out the 'new facilities' at 11A. hahahhah! so cute! the sinks are like, knee height. and tiny! and the toiletbowls are even more amusing. i reckon that they're smaller than my butt lo. so cute!!!!! all catered specially for toddlers. haha. what about the poor teachers man!! haha.
aha, and i realised that after a few weeks of waking up early to study during the study break and on weekends, my body clock has automatically adjusted itself such that i no longer need an alarm to wake up at nine! wah. first time. but the bad news is i can no longer sleep past 9. actually, make that 8 plus. cos consistently when i set my alarm at 9 on days i dun hafta wake up early i end up waking before the alarm. hohoho. merry christmas man..
hoho. haha. ok. im so excited about all the potential stuff to do! seekie asked if we wanted to go for singing lessons. (me excluded la. not as if im super at singing but i dun see any reason why i'd be using my lungs for pop songs since my voice is so not a pop voice anyway. haha) wahhhhh. ohh and she's gonna bring last thur's copy of urban!!!!! whoohoo. haha.
larrdeela.
if i could do cartwheels i would.
if i could jump a mile high i would.
but too bad i can't.
haha.
so i shall just smile instead.
hurr.
wicked sweet!
i can't wait for the weekend.
yayyy!
:) :) :)
